How ChooseSahi Scores Supplement Purity

Every supplement on ChooseSahi gets a Purity Score from 0 to 100. It's not a lab certification — it's a transparent, repeatable evaluation built from publicly available data and standardized math, so you can compare products on the same scale instead of trusting marketing. Here's exactly what goes into it.

What the score measures

We break each product into eight sub-scores (each out of 100), then combine them into the overall Purity Score:

  1. Ingredient Quality — overall quality and cleanliness of the formulation.
  2. Protein Source — how pure/filtered the protein is (isolate vs concentrate vs blends).
  3. Amino Acid Profile — completeness and BCAA/EAA content per serving.
  4. Sweetener Profile — added sugars and artificial sweeteners.
  5. Filler Content — thickeners, gums, and bulking agents.
  6. Digestibility — lactose load, fats, and ease of digestion.
  7. Transparency — full-label disclosure vs proprietary blends.
  8. Overall Value — cost per gram of actual protein vs the market.

How the sub-scores combine

The overall Purity Score is a weighted average of the eight factors above. We weight the signals that are hardest to fake and matter most for what you actually consume:

  • Protein source & purity — 25%
  • Transparency & third-party testing — 20%
  • Filler / sweetener content — 20%
  • Amino profile & digestibility — 20%
  • Value (cost per gram protein) — 15%

From score to tier

We bucket the final score into easy-to-read tiers:

TierMeaning
A+Ultra-clean, minimal fillers, high purity
AHigh-quality daily protein
BDecent, budget-friendly, some thickeners
CDiluted/low-purity or high-sugar — buy with caution

What raises a score

  • Third-party / independent lab testing
  • High actual-protein percentage (purity)
  • Full ingredient disclosure (no proprietary blends)
  • Minimal fillers and no amino spiking
  • Strong cost per gram of protein

What lowers a score

  • Proprietary blends that hide amounts
  • Added sugars and heavy artificial sweeteners
  • Low protein density relative to claims (a spiking red flag)
  • No testing or verification available

What the score is not

It's not a medical or safety certification, and it doesn't replace reading the label or talking to a professional. It's one consistent, unbiased input — calculated the same way for every brand, with no paid placements — to make comparison honest.

The bottom line

The Purity Score exists so you can compare a ₹1,800 tub and a ₹3,600 tub on the same objective scale, instead of on marketing. We show the eight sub-scores on every product page so you can see why a product scored the way it did — and decide what matters most for your goals.
